What's a Biewer?
A Biewer is a long coated toy breed that originated in Germany in the '80's,
supposedly from two full blooded Yorkshire Terriers.
Biewers have only been in the US a few short years, however.
Unlike their ancestors the Yorkshire Terrier, Biewers have
a tri colored head (black/blue-white-tan/gold)
and a body with any variation of black and white.
A Biewer's tail is left long and not docked like the Yorkie's tail.

They do love children though and we love to place
our puppies in great families with children who respect small animals
and are taught to handle them with care.

I've always loved Yorkies, so when I discovered the Biewer,
it was love at first sight for me! While the Havana Silk Dogs will always be our first love
there is certainly room in our hearts for some adorable Biewers too.

1. Certify their patellas with OFA
2. Have them BAER tested,
3. Have their eyes certified with CERF
4. Run SA320's on them to check for liver and kidney functions.
In our minds, there is no legitimate excuse NOT to health test breeding dogs
and we feel it is shabby breeding practices, at best, to NOT do so.
